One of the exciting features of Land Grab TM is the ability to
build a wide variety of different structures on land that you own.
Here is a partial list of some of the things you can build on parcels that
you own:
Depots
Forts
Watch Towers
Fences
Stone Walls
Steel Walls
Bridges
Farms |
Wells
Signs
Stores
Trading Posts
Docks
Ships
Fishing Platforms |
HOW TO BUILD ANYTHING:
To be able to build anything, you must
meet 5 requirements:
1) You must own the
parcel you want to build on
2) You must be standing NEXT TO the parcel you want to build on
3) You must have enough resources and gold to build the item
4) No expeditions can be standing on the parcel you want to build on
5) No other structures or objects can be on the parcel
Assuming you meet
these requirements, just right click on a parcel next to where you are
standing and choose the BUILD button. A list of all items that can be
built in that location will appear and you simply make your selection.
The resources and gold required to build the item will be deducted from your
inventory.
If the BUILD button
does not appear when you right click, then you do not meet one of the 5
requirements listed above. If the BUILD button appears, but the item
you want to build is not listed, then that item cannot be built on that
particular location OR you do not have enough resources or gold to build the
item.
INCREASING COST TO
BUILD SOME ITEMS:
The amount of resources and gold required
to build certain items such as Forts, Buildings, and Depots increases
depending on the number of items of that type that you already own.
The cost for items that have an increasing cost is 1X, 2X, 3X, etc. the
original base cost. For example, here are the costs to build multiple
forts:
1st Fort: 125
lumber, 250 gold
2nd Fort: 250 lumber, 500 gold
3rd Fort: 375 lumber, 750 gold
etc...
HOW TO DEMOLISH
ANYTHING:
If you own any parcel that contains a
player-constructed item, you can demolish the item by simply standing next
to the parcel, right clicking on the parcel and choosing DEMOLISH.
HOW TO BUILD SHIPS,
DOCKS & FISHING PLATFORMS:
These items have special requirements.
